Chile registers 3,371 COVID-19 infections in one day

SANTIAGO, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) -- Chile recorded 3,371 infections of COVID-19, as well as 17 deaths, in a day, bringing the total caseload to 709,888, with 18,040 accumulated deaths, the Ministry of Health reported Wednesday. Read full story

On July 3, 2020, Al Jazeera through segment 101 East published a 26-minute short documentary (by Drew Ambrose and Jenni Henderseon) on how Malaysia treated illegal immigrants while Covid-19 was in critical condition (within the MCO). Locked Up in Malaysia's Lockdown Hidden away in the COVID-19 pandemic are Malaysia's migrant workers. For years, they have done the country's most dangerous, dirtiest jobs. Now, undocumented foreign workers are scared for their future.
