MMA: All GPs too should get the vaccines

PETALING JAYA: All general practitioners (GPs) and their medical staff should be prioritised in the Covid-19 vaccination programme as they are also frontliners fighting the pandemic, says Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) president Prof Datuk Dr Subramaniam Muniandy. He said for now, less than half of the 7,000 GPs nationwide had been invited to register for the first priority group. Read full story

Covid-19 & Illegal Immigrants: Documentary defaming Malaysia

On July 3, 2020, Al Jazeera through segment 101 East published a 26-minute short documentary (by Drew Ambrose and Jenni Henderseon) on how Malaysia treated illegal immigrants while Covid-19 was in critical condition (within the MCO). Locked Up in Malaysia's Lockdown Hidden away in the COVID-19 pandemic are Malaysia's migrant workers. For years, they have done the country's most dangerous, dirtiest jobs. Now, undocumented foreign workers are scared for their future.
