European rights court says Poland denied judges right to appeal

WARSAW (Reuters) - The Polish justice minister infringed on the rights of two court officials when he dismissed them without letting them appeal, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruled on Tuesday, dealing a blow to the government's judicial reforms. Read full story

On July 3, 2020, Al Jazeera through segment 101 East published a 26-minute short documentary (by Drew Ambrose and Jenni Henderseon) on how Malaysia treated illegal immigrants while Covid-19 was in critical condition (within the MCO). Locked Up in Malaysia's Lockdown Hidden away in the COVID-19 pandemic are Malaysia's migrant workers. For years, they have done the country's most dangerous, dirtiest jobs. Now, undocumented foreign workers are scared for their future.
