Health DG: Health Ministry aims to prevent burnout among healthcare workers

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Healthcare workers involved in tackling the Covid-19 pandemic will be given unrecorded leave with the approval of the respective heads of departments so as to avoid symptoms of extreme stress or burnout, says Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. On July 3, 2020, Al Jazeera through segment 101 East published a 26-minute short documentary (by Drew Ambrose and Jenni Henderseon) on how Malaysia treated illegal immigrants while Covid-19 was in critical condition (within the MCO).
