Health DG: Health Ministry’s aim to prevent burnout among healthcare workers

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Healthcare workers involved in tackling the Covid-19 pandemic will be given unrecorded leave with the approval of the respective heads of departments so as to avoid symptoms of extreme stress or burnout, says Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. Covid-19 & Illegal Immigrants: Documentary defaming Malaysia

On July 3, 2020, Al Jazeera through segment 101 East published a 26-minute short documentary (by Drew Ambrose and Jenni Henderseon) on how Malaysia treated illegal immigrants while Covid-19 was in critical condition (within the MCO). Locked Up in Malaysia's Lockdown Hidden away in the COVID-19 pandemic are Malaysia's migrant workers. For years, they have done the country's most dangerous, dirtiest jobs. Now, undocumented foreign workers are scared for their future.
