Nigeria says Biafran separatist leader arrested, will face trial

ABUJA (Reuters) - Nnamdi Kanu, leader of banned separatist group the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has been arrested and is in Nigeria's capital, Abuja, to face trial, a spokesman for the justice minister said on Tuesday. Read full story

On July 3, 2020, Al Jazeera through segment 101 East published a 26-minute short documentary (by Drew Ambrose and Jenni Henderseon) on how Malaysia treated illegal immigrants while Covid-19 was in critical condition (within the MCO). Locked Up in Malaysia's Lockdown Hidden away in the COVID-19 pandemic are Malaysia's migrant workers. For years, they have done the country's most dangerous, dirtiest jobs. Now, undocumented foreign workers are scared for their future.
