Sabah to announce SOPs for its Covid-19 recovery plan on Tuesday (June 29)

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah is expected to announce fresh standard operating procedures (SOPs) for its Covid-19 recovery plan on Tuesday (June 29), says state Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun Masidi confirmed that the SOPs would only be released after the state government allowed dine-ins and certain contact sports to be allowed from Tuesday. On July 3, 2020, Al Jazeera through segment 101 East published a 26-minute short documentary (by Drew Ambrose and Jenni Henderseon) on how Malaysia treated illegal immigrants while Covid-19 was in critical condition (within the MCO). Locked Up in Malaysia's Lockdown Hidden away in the COVID-19 pandemic are Malaysia's migrant workers. For years, they have done the country's most dangerous, dirtiest jobs. Now, undocumented foreign workers are scared for their future.
