U.S. consumer watchdog orders tech giants turn over information on payment systems

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) on Thursday said it has issued a series of orders to tech giants to turn over information on their payment system plans in an effort to ensure adequate consumer protection. Read full story

On July 3, 2020, Al Jazeera through segment 101 East published a 26-minute short documentary (by Drew Ambrose and Jenni Henderseon) on how Malaysia treated illegal immigrants while Covid-19 was in critical condition (within the MCO). Locked Up in Malaysia's Lockdown Hidden away in the COVID-19 pandemic are Malaysia's migrant workers. For years, they have done the country's most dangerous, dirtiest jobs. Now, undocumented foreign workers are scared for their future.
